It is so tragic that the bus fell into 500-meter deep ravine killed 14 people Friday morning at 7:20 a.m. along Halsema Highway at the vicinity of Sitio Pagang, Barangay Talubin, Bontoc town in Mountain Province. In a moment where these people were enjoying the travel, they don't know that they were going to die. Who knows, right? Even the driver didn't know. Even if you're too cautious, if it's your time, you can't do anything.

Among the 14 fatalities is Tado Jimenez (Arvin “Tado” Jimenez), a famous Philippine film comedian. The thirty one survivors rushed to the nearby Bontoc General Hospital.
I just found out this morning that the bus is GV Florida which is a very popular bus line in Ilocandia. The franchise route is Manila via Bontoc to Banaue.
