It is so heartbreaking because the baby boy, Lennon James Picco, who has been named after Beatles' Lennon was born prematurely by emergency Caesarian section last weekend. He was born at 24 weeks on November 8, but his mother Ashley died the same day.
It has been reported that during the pregnancy, Ashley would often feel Lennon moving to music. This prompted Chris Picco to take a guitar into the neo-natal ward to play it for several hours and sing "Blackbird" to Lennon.
