Malacañang declared that there will be no classesin schools nationwide tomorrow in line of the EDSA Anniversary but it is a regular working day for the public and private sectors. This is based on the Proclamation 655 Series of 2013 issued by President Aquino as stated by Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Herminio Coloma Jr. over state-run dzRB radio.
In addition, this year’s 28th EDSA anniversary will be celebrated in Cebu so President Aquino can revisit the areas affected by recent natural calamities before he leaves for his official visit to Malaysia on Feb. 27-28. The theme of the celebration is – Kapit-Bisig Tungo sa Pagbangon.
